My life’s purpose has been dedicated to serving others and spreading the message of Jesus Christ. I dedicated my life to Jesus at the age of 16 in Endicott, NY. After high school I attended Eastern Nazarene College where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in social work. Guided by my passion for helping teenagers, I worked tirelessly to make a positive impact on their lives through my work.
We moved to New Paltz, NY I discovered the next stage of my purpose to serve teenagers within the church. What started as a small group of three grew into a thriving community of 25, igniting my desire to discern God’s plan for my future. My wife and two kids moved to Kansas City where I attended seminary, we didn’t have much but I had an unwavering faith to believe that God was doing a good work in me.
After seminary I was directed to Buffalo where many Nazerene churches were being planted and I spent 17 years planting a new church from scratch. I received an invitation to serve as pastor from the Free Methodist Church, and while I was hoping I would be called to a church in St. Petersburg, FL to do beach-to-beach evangelism LOL! But felt God directing us to lead an established church in Akron, NY! I arrived here the Sunday after the events of 9/11, and through God’s grace, I was able to guide this church through healing and growth. Over my 20+ years here, we have been blessed to be a part of planting more than 5 churches in the WNY area.
Beyond my ministry, I am fortunate to have shared a lifelong journey with my high school sweetheart, Pam. Together, we have raised two incredible children, Siobohn and Mark. I am grateful for all the moments I get to spend with my family, and one of our favorite activities is playing pickle ball together. Setting up our very own pickleball net in the driveway has become a source of joy and connection for us. I am as committed as the day I began my journey to lead with humility and have an unwavering dedication to God’s work. I strive to be a guiding light, inspiring others to follow Jesus.
