Week 2: Friend or Foe?

Is your closest friend your biggest critic? Not a chance! They encourage you when you’re down. They pay attention to your wellbeing and care to support you throughout your life. When we see God as only an almighty ruler or judge of heaven, it doesn’t allow us to know Him as a friend. One who cares, supports, encourages and deeply knows our heart. But friends do what acquaintances won’t do. And moreover, God does too.
